Inspired by the ki plant, this design reflects a plant deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture. In lāʻau lapaʻau, ki leaves are used in cleansing practicesal, for protection, and are sometimes used in traditional practices associated with supporting comfort during fever and general illness, along with overall well-being.
